Myofascial Stretching

And Group Yoga Classes

What Is Myofascial Stretching?

Myofascial stretching combines the principles of John F Barnes Myofascial Release, Yin Yoga, and Thai Massage to provide you with a modality that is superbly effective in releasing the restrictions in your body that decrease your flexibility, limit your range of motion, and cause pain and tension.

Have you ever noticed that no matter how much stretching or yoga you do, your flexibility seems to hit a limit? Or perhaps you make some progress, but then eventually the body goes back to its old patterns of tension and restriction. This happens because traditional stretching techniques and modern fast-flow yoga classes do not target the fascial restrictions that are the root cause for these issues.

Each of these sessions are personalized for your specific needs through proper assessment and implementation of the techniques that will bring you the most benefit.

The session will take place on the floor on a yoga mat. Wear comfortable clothing that allows the therapist access to your skin, such as shorts and a sports bra or tank top. It is important to avoid wearing lotions, oils, or creams on your skin as proper grip is essential.
