This is unlike any cleanse you've ever done before. The Soma Haus Cleanse is an Ayurvedic seasonal reset of digestion on a physical, mental, and emotional level. Ayurvedic cleansing is not about dieting, restriction, or punishment. It is a deeply nourishing experience that gives your system a moment to rest, repair, and rejuvenate.

Cleansing in a group of like-minded, health-and-happiness-seeking women is a beautiful and powerful experience of support, sisterhood, and love.

How It Works
​
Once you sign up you will receive all of the details for what lies ahead. Prior to our cleanse week you will receive a list of foods to buy, recipes, journal prompts, and support documents.
​
For 5 days (Monday through Friday) we will eat a mono-diet. Traditionally this is a delicious dish called kitchari — rice and mung dal — but modifications can be made if need be. There are many benefits of eating kitchari, most notably that it is gentle on the digestive system and provides all essential amino acids. Variety can be added with spices, and steamed or sauteed vegetables. When we eat just one thing during a cleanse, it allows our digestive system a moment to breathe so that we can metabolize and excrete built-up ama (toxins) in the body.

There are journal prompts and self-nourishing practices throughout the week to clear away mental and emotional residues as well. This cleanse truly works on body, mind, and spirit.

You won't need to clear your calendar. In fact, this cleanse is built with busy, on-the-go women in-mind. All of the self-practices can be easily woven into your existing schedule, and Zoom meetings will be recorded if you can't join live.

What Our Week Entails
We will kick off our week with a group Zoom meeting on Sunday evening to set our intentions for the week ahead, and answer questions. Our cleanse will begin Monday morning and will continue through Friday night. We will have a mid-week Zoom meeting on Wednesday evening that is a lovely meditation practice to offer you ease and comfort. Saturday is a day for reflection. The following Sunday will be a final Zoom meeting to share our experience and close.
