Reiki
Reiki (“ray-key”) is a gentle and effective energy healing technique that originated in Japan.

Rei means “spiritual wisdom” and Ki means “life energy”.
Reiki helps to bring a deep sense of calm to the entire body and mind, which allows the nervous and endocrine systems to function optimally to maintain homeostasis in the body allowing the body to heal itself.

Reiki can be used for reducing stress, easing aches and pains or recovering from injury, relaxing muscle tension, increasing energy and relieving fatigue, promoting restful sleep, emotional well-being, soothing emotional distress, promoting peaceful and positive mindset, and much more.
Reiki can be used in conjunction with any other medical treatment and should not replace any current therapy you’re receiving from your doctor. In fact, Reiki works well in conjunction with other healing modalities and is even offered as a part of regular patient care in many hospitals and medical centers across the U.S. and has shown very positive benefits to patients.

Craniosacral Therapy
Craniosacral therapy is a gentle, hands-on approach that creates spaciousness by supporting the cranial bones to promote optimal flow of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF).
At The Soma Haus the techniques of John F. Barnes’ Myofascial Release are used for craniosacral therapy.
Using sustained, light-touch pressure, the therapist engages areas of fascial restriction to gently create space and ease. Rather than imposing force or direction, the therapist follows the body’s cues, allowing restrictions to unwind at their own pace.
As restrictions ease, the craniosacral rhythm is restored, supporting deep relaxation and nervous system regulation.
Clients often experience a profound sense of calm, increased body awareness, and a feeling of being more connected and grounded. Each session is unique, guided by the individual’s needs and the body’s responses in the moment.

Vibroacoustic Body Therapy
Sound & vibroacoustic healing is the use of tones, mantras, guided meditation, Yoga Nidra, instruments, and vibration to bring about a sense of deep rest, relaxation, and ease in the body, mind, and spirit.

Sound and music have been used therapeutically in all cultures since the beginning of time. Even today modern medicine uses sound waves to produce ultrasound images in healthcare, and for medical procedures such as lithotripsy.

During your session Tibetan singing bowls may be placed around or on your body, tuning forks may be used at energy points, and other instruments may be played.

Each session is mindfully crafted for your specific needs.

Reflexology
Reflexology, or "zone therapy" was introduced to the United States in 1913 from Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). This modality utilizes pressure points on the foot that are associated with remote locations within the body such as organs, joints, or other tissues.

Therapeutic pressure is applied to support the tissues associated with the zones of the foot. It is believed that the connection from the foot to these distant structures is via the body's network of fascia.
Fascia is the only tissue that touches every part of the body; it wraps each organ, muscle fiber, bone, and joint.
