This service is a blend of therapeutic and relaxing massage styles, as well as the option to integrate vibroacoustic therapy with Tibetan sound therapy bowls placed and played on the body, and/or tuning forks.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a gentle and deeply soothing modality that supports the functions of th​e lymphatic system. MLD is different from massage therapy, but is sometimes referred to as "lymphatic massage".

Anyone can receive MLD for general wellness, and it is a great way to support your overall health and immune function.

​

MLD is recommended before and after most surgeries, and can help facilitate faster healing.

​

MLD is also helpful in the management of lymphedema, autoimmune disorders, migraines, whiplash, insomnia, prenatal and postpartum, nervous system disorders such as Parkinson's, neuropathy, or multiple sclerosis, fibromyalgia, complex regional pain syndrome, fertility issues, pelvic congestion syndrome, and more.

Myofascial Release

Fascia is a very special connective tissue that touches every part of the body. Examples of fascia you may already know include the IT band, and the plantar fascia.

​

Postural patterns, inflammation, injuries, surgery, and repetitive use can cause fascial restrictions that can create as much as 2,000lbs per square inch of pressure on other tissues and joints. Over time, this limits mobility,  causes pain or discomfort, and results in impaired function or injury.

​

Myofascial Release (MFR) uses a constant pressure to release the "straight jacket" of tension in the fascia, freeing your tissues from their restriction that causes you pain.

Reflexology

Reflexology, or "zone therapy" was introduced to the United States in 1913 from Traditional Chinese Medicine. This modality utilizes pressure points on the foot that are associated with remote locations within the body such as organs, joints, or other tissues.

​

Therapeutic pressure is applied to support the tissues associated with the zones of the foot. It is believed that the connection from the foot to these distant structures is via the body's network of fascia. Fascia is the only tissue that touches every part of the body; it wraps each organ, muscle fiber, bone, and joint.

​

Reflexology is also available as an add-on for other massage services including Integrative Massage, Prenatal, and Oncology.

Whether you are currently experiencing cancer, or you are in remission, specialized Oncology Massage is so beneficial.

This gentle technique is focused on relaxation, stress-reduction, and symptom relief.

Ask your insurance if Massage Therapy is covered, and if so, I can provide a receipt for you to submit for reimbursement.

Prenatal Massage

Prenatal massage has numerous benefits including relief from back pain, improved sleep, reducing stress, and easing the many aches and pains that come along with pregnancy. You deserve to be pampered!

This prenatal massage uses a supported side-lying position using body-length pillows. The side-lying position is the best way to get at those sore spots in the hips and low back.
